You are absolutely correct, traditionally Australians purchase their own properties. We use the Selling agent for both transactions. What people don’t realise is that a Real Estate Agent has a fiduciary obligation to represent their client. What does that mean? Put simply the selling agent has a legal obligation to achieve the best outcome (price) for their client the Vendor. Not YOU the Purchaser.

Our fees are based on the level of service you require. For example, we charge a retainer to commence our services, and a % commission fee based on the purchase price of property, payable upon unconditional contracts for our full service. Our retainer is deducted from our commission upon success.

Your retainer fee will not be refunded if you decide to cancel your search for a property. However, if you put your search on hold (max 3 months), we can resume your search at any time and your retainer fee will remain valid.
